A little while back, in a similarly titled thread, I solicited your opinions on your ten favorite Jethro Tull tunes. I enjoyed reading the diversity of responses.

Now it's The Doors' turn.

Below are my top ten at the moment. What are yours?

1. Peace Frog

2. The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat)

3. Spanish Caravan

4. When the Music's Over

5. The End

6. Strange Days

7. Waiting for the Sun

8. Not to Touch the Earth

9. The Crystal Ship

10. Horse Latitudes

How can we stop this woman from spreading her messages of hate? Everyone knows that "free hugs project" is an anagram of "forget herpes." Sure, there may be a couple of extra letters in there, but that just shows how nefarious it really is.

I grew up with them. The same way I grew up with the Stones and Beatles. I was in the 7th grade when Light My Fire was released as a single in 1967 and in high school when he died. All of this music is truly the soundtrack of my life.

The Crystal Ship

Wishful Sinful

The End

Touch Me

Shaman's Blues

The Soft Parade

Waiting For The Sun

Alabama Song

When The Music's Over

Hello, I Love You

L.A. Woman

What Lorraine said... I drove down to the Jersey Shore in the back seat of my sisters car the summer of 1967 listening to Light My Fire on the radio. I was 12 y.o.

6. The Spy

7. Soul Kitchen

I expected to see both of these more often in these lists...

I had a similar thought when I read the top tens here. But it's all right.

The Spy is less played, but an excellent tune that should never be underrated.

Soul Kitchen helped The Doors to reach a second album.

It plays at radio stations here sometimes.

Quite good!

Well this is coming from someone who's name anagrams to "Mayor Taker"... As in you plan to overthrow the mayor by force and then take their position? No way, "Tyrant Tom"!!

Sure I added or subtracted some letters here and there in order to make those anagrams work, but it was for the sake of cracking the code. You're not as cryptic as you'd like to think, criminal.
