Not sure if this thread will end well.

I just finished listening to it now and still don't like it. Each instrument by itself is fine but everything seems noticeably wimpier. I can only blame Rupert Hine. Mainly though, it's the lyrics & backing vocals of "face up" that bring the song down and into the cheesy ballpark for me.

I liked Face Up when it came out; now it sounds like an early sketch of Stick it Out. I do like the lyrics though.

I love Face Up. I didn't know that was the contrarian route until I joined this forum.
