Call out for direction

And there's no one there to steer

Shout out for salvation

But there's no one there to hear

Cry out supplication

For the maelstrom is near

Scream out desperation

But no one cares to hear

wins it on its own

Although I love the young Ged voice I would say the mid 80's ish time frame was him at his best. He still had "it" but was much more mature and controlled. The other day traveling for four hours I popped in the Grace Under Pressure tour recording. He was in the best form around that time. Having said that nothing will ever replace the vocals on ATWAS for me but for the masses the mid to late 80's are probably the best overall... Edited by Narps

It's true that nothing could ever replace Geddy screeching out "4" at the beginning of In The End.
