Rush - Totem

Im surprise that Totem gets a favorite song-spot. Don't get me wrong, its a great song. But Test For Echo is usual a hated album.

Jumper- Third Eye Blind

Sleepsong- Bastille

Drive All Night- Bruce Springsteen

Russian Roulette- Rihanna

In Visible Light- Lacuna Coil

Segue, Drive All Night was the song that really made me want to go back and listen to all Bruce's stuff ( after all your glowing posts made me say OK, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE )

Great song

I love that song so much!

I just really love his emotional side. The River is full of that!

Rush - Natural Science (without a doubt)

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (tomorrow it could be another Floyd tune but something of theirs would always make the cut)

Bob Dylan - The Times Are a-Changin' (my favorite lyricist and one of my favorite Dylan tracks for sure)

Bob Marley - Exodus (any Marley is good, this is the one I usually think of first though)

Jethro Tull - Inside (too many great songs to choose from but this one feels the happiest)

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - Elton John

Excellent!

I love this song. When I was a boy I always thought this was The Beatles.

My all-time favorite song now and forever is "Strawberry Fields Forever".

And like Hatchet stated, after that things get kinda mental.

I recently discovered Judee Sill and her song "The Kiss" is superbly ethereal. So there's that...

I can't do it. No matter which five I would choose (and my five favorites would change with each passing decade) I would feel that I was betraying other songs that had helped get me through so much in my life. Edited by Lorraine

ok a 3 minute brain dump: TSOR - Rush, Spoonman - Soundgarden, Them Bones - Alice in Chains, New Skin - Incubus, Voodoo Chile - SRV (his cover is better than Hendrix IMO).
